Themba Maseko

Professor Themba Maseko is a highly esteemed leader and academic, currently serving as the head of the Wits School of Governance. His career is distinguished by a deep commitment to public service and social equity, having held several pivotal roles in government including as Cabinet Spokesperson.

 

Beyond his public service, Maseko  is currently the Chairperson of Corruption Watch, a member of the Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution (CASAC), and a Trustee at the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

 

An author and advocate for justice, Maseko penned For My Country: Why I Blew the Whistle on Zuma and the Guptas, reflecting his courageous stance against corruption, for which he was honoured at the Inaugural Whistleblower Awards. His leadership continues to inspire change in governance and public service.
